Autumn holiday club

We have spent a peaceful but productive two days in the woods.

There was lots of fire making, pumpkin soup cooking, bread baking, and popcorn eating.

The children used tools for digging, carving, peeling, engineering, observing and creating with.

The logs were moved to reveal toads, centipedes, millipedes, newts, spiders and slugs.

The buckets were filled with pine cones, pine needles, beech leaves and crab apples to create with.

The slack line was moved and swings, tyres and hammocks swung on.

The blindfolds were put on to play funny listening and following games together.

The sun shone and the woods and the children were wonderful!
