The rain fell and the water dripped and gushed and poured, and we made a shelter and we pushed the pools of water off the shelter with sticks, and we lit a fire and made some sticky, sweet blackberry jam, and we made labels for our jam pots, and we swung and we splashed and we adventured through woods and fields in the downpour, and we found mixing sticks and mixed dust and sand into mixtures and wrote in the soil, and we toasted our sandwiches on the fire, and we painted pictures and we got wet and we dried ourselves off by the fire and we got wet again, and we hid behind trees and we watched moss create bubbles from the rainfall and we had a lot of fun.
