It has been a busy summer in the woods this year. We have welcomed holiday groups who played and explored in the woods together. Children have celebrated their birthdays with bushcraft activities and cakes and we have hosted a wonderful wedding. The woods were adorned with friends and family to create a special day, framed with hazel bowers, dappled sunlight and love, and laughter.
Now autumn approaches, we are gathering bounty from the trees to learn about and celebrate harvest. We are thankful for the space that is our workplace and the connection it can bring to people and the land.
In October we are coming together with Children's forest to host a community day to celebrate the land and learn about trees, ecology, food, lore medicine and share our thanks by treading lightly on the land and giving back our time and energy for the next generation of trees, animals and people.
Come and join us for the day in October and again in December's mid-winter, to help support our guardianship of this wonderful woodland.
