Despite the gorgeous light of Tuesday rising, the rain didn't stay away today. Not to worry, rain never stops play in the woods- just adds to it. And now we have a brilliant new shelter thanks to support from the Nineveh Trust, we set off with excitement and anticipation about our day in the rain.
We involved ourselves in all things Autumn, including collecting sticks for a fire, toasting our lunch, warming ourselves, making stuff out of our lunchtime packaging, exploring fallen trees, studying the stream, rebuilding bridges, creating waterways, moulding with clay, making green men faces, painting with mud, foraging for mushrooms, swinging around, slack line balancing, collecting Autumn treasure, hiding, making new friends, playing games and generally not really paying attention to how incredibly wet it really was!
