With our lovely new Monday group, we set out on the journey to the woods. There was scrambling under stiles today, as well as over them. The children kicked up some dust on the dry paths and noticed how the Forest Way is slowly becoming a green tree tunnel as the trees come into leaf. The bluebells are just on their way, and although not obvious from afar, there were too many for the children to count, as opposed to the 31 last week. They calmly chatted and snacked and swung and climbed their way to the end of our lovely afternoon.
