Samhain (pronounced SAH-win or SOW-in) meaning ‘Summers End’, is an old celebration of these lands that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter.
We'll be gathering to mark the start of the darker half of the year with fire, share what we might dream for this winter whilst sharing tea, seasonal storytelling and crafts.
Plus, the tasks start to build in the woods this time of the year, so for those who want to take part, Coppice Club will be happening too, so there'll be some simple woodland skills and tasks on hand for anyone who wants to take to the tools. Coppice Club is our regular gathering to tend the woods together, coppicing hazel, making charcoal and picking up bushcraft skills as we go. All abilities welcome, and there's always tea by the…
