About the event

The Sawpit Woods will be our meeting space and resource to meet every Tuesday from 9.15-11am.

Dates are Tuesdays:

19th April

26th April

3rd May

10th May

24th May

Please note NO SESSION 17th May

The cost is £6 per child (adults come free)

(if you have a non-walking baby sibling, then they come for free with their brother or sisters booking)

Come and enjoy the freedom and support of the woods with your small people and meet others. Any child from birth to school age, bring one, bring them all. Stay and play and follow your childs interests. Lots of possibilities to follow their lead and hang out with other adults at the same time- even if you don't manage a sustained conversation with them!

Whether the weather is bright, warm, cold, wet or misty, the only limiting factor is our appropriate clothing and our enthusiasm! We have a covered shelter, but you will need weather appropriate clothing each week. Even when it is warm, the woods can be prickly places, so long trousers and long sleeves are recommended.

The session will be held by a Forest School Practitioner, but will be directed by the children's interests. There can be digging, scrambling, climbing, balancing, painting, making, fire lighting, adventuring and connecting with nature in whatever way they choose to engage.  Please bring your own snacks.

RSVP below for booking, payment and contact details.
