Our new Coppice Club returns in 2026 to learn woodland skills, crafts and share time together outside.

About the event
Join us to tend and conserve local Sussex woodlands through hands on activities with others who care for the land.
Traditional crafts, woodland conservation skills, nature connection & building community.
This time we'll be continuing to coppice and pollard parts of the woodland, build dead hedges and start making draw horses - furniture to help us get making in the woods.
All abilities and ages welcome. Come as you are. Children welcome and are to be accompanied by an adult. Sorry no dogs.
Suggested donation of £10 which supports Sawpit Woods CIC to purchase resources, materials and refreshments.
