We asked our friends, families and children to send in some photos of what they had been up to in the recent weeks of lockdown...so here is what some of the friends of Sawpit Woods have shared...

Last week we had a little bike ride down the forest way. Oliver and Emily can never resist a visit to Sawpit Woods. They wanted to show Charlie but he fell asleep! They were delighted to see the slack line was still up and insisted to have a go!
It was so very peaceful and quite undisturbed.

Another successful day of home schooling - digging a hole, just because

pretending to be a dog...it seemed like a good idea at the time!

Wild swimming...a true joy and something they will always remember

tying a knot or two

early morning peace and sunset moments

a wild swing....one of our favourite finds

sorting socks....a brilliant way to fill some of the 'homeschooling' routine

some beasts we found along the way

a hand built den in the woods

fashion need'nt be disregarded when out collecting stones

an upturned barrow and a plank....hours of fun

getting creative with food

A dolphin or dinosaur pie....beacause why wouldn't you?

We all go out each day on a dog walk and have lots of fun running around in the field and spotting the wildlife, Bea picks all the dandelions and blows the seeds in the wind!
We spotted butterflies in the Woodlands and bluebells.

We have been very lucky to have had some lovely weather and each day Bea has attended her garden and waters her bean seeds and flowers each day, she is loving looking after her garden and watching her plants grow.
She has made a fairy garden along with a bug house which has residents already!

And obvs...there is always time for that classic;
tree climbing
