After school club in the woods! Children will be collected from St Mary's school and walk themselves to the woods every week until 5pm.

About the event
We will collect and change at school into appropriate clothing. This may be a set of waterproofs to put over their school uniform and wellies. If they are choosing to change, they will need long sleeved tops and long trousers to protect themselves from the sun or any prickles and stingers. We will wander with the children to the Forest School site at Sawpit Woods.
The children will have a chance to play, learn and explore in the woods. We might make a fire, use tools, climb, swing, build dens, sculpt with clay... always following the children's ideas and inspirations. The children can bring a snack to sustain them and we can provide drinks for them. Children will need a bag which they can carry all of their belongings in independently.
We will then stroll up the hill to be collected at the top of the farm track at Hodore Farm at 5pm.
